Uluwatu
The southern peninsula is the most rocky part of Bali.
On the southwestern cape you will find Pura Luhur Uluwatu, a temple founded in the 11th century.
The Uluwatu temple is one of the holiest temples in Bali, located at a very beautiful spot.
The temple rises high above the cliffs.
You can walk the temple stairs, 200 meters above the sea.
Around the temple complex live many wild monkeys.
The monkeys regularly steal things like sunglasses and hats from tourists,
better to leave items like that in the car.
Combinations
You can combine Uluwatu with the trip to Turtle Island, or you can dine on fresh fish afterwards at Jimbaran beach.
