Turtle Island
From Nusa Dua in the south of Bali, you can take a boat trip to Turtle Island.
On the island, the World Wildlife Fund runs a program for the protection and breeding of sea turtles.
If turtle eggs are found in dangerous places, they are brought over to the island.
The biggest turtles are over 1 meter wide.
You can hold the small turtles and feed the big ones.
The center also has other animals such as birds and snakes.
Combination
You may want to combine a trip to Turtle Island with a visit to Uluwatu.
There is also a beautiful swimming beach at a ten minutes drive from Nusa Dua.
