Kecak dance
Balinese culture knows several traditional dances.
The Kecak dance is the most famous of these.
A male group of usually more than 40 persons sing the traditional Ramayana epos,
a Shakespeare-like royal drama.
Princess Sita is kindnapped by a hostile king, but freed with the help of a monkey army.
The singing consists of many sounds like 'chack'.
The story is illustrated by some beautifully dressed male and female dancers.

There are several locations, for instance around Ubud, where the Kecak dance is performed daily, in the evening.
